How to Hack a Window XP Admins Password
59This is a cool little trick I’ve picked up in my travels and decided to share it with you fine and ethical individuals =). Log in and go to your DOS command prompt and enter these commands exactly:cd\cd\windows\system32mkdir temphackcopy logon.scr temphack\logon.scrcopy cmd.exe temphack\cmd.exedel logon.scrrename cmd.exe logon.screxitSo what you just told windows to backup is the command program and the screen saver file. Then you edited the settings so when windows loads the screen saver, you will get an unprotected dos prompt without logging in. When this appears enter this command that’s in parenthesis (net user password). So if the admin user name is Doug and you want the password 1234 then you would enter “net user Doug 1234″ and now you’ve changed the admin password to 1234. Log in, do what you want to do, copy the contents of temphack back into system32 to cover your tracks.

what happes when you cant log in at all? best way is the linux boot disk as mentioned in the earlier comment.

then comes no exis
Maybe I'm wrong but for what I know linux can't mkdir in a NTFS partition (Windows XP).
P.S: I'm a linux user.

ok heres how to hack the password without even having access to the admin account :)
i tryed it at my school and it just says access is denied...........WTF!

so... step one is "LOG IN" ...... anyone else find this comical? or is this situation assuming you have a limited account and need to gain admin access. in anycase i stil find the linux boot disk the best way to gain admin access to any 2000/XP machine without needing any user access.
